LESSONS FROM FLOODS

With the dramatic rise in the number and scale of destructive floods in recent years, Lessons from Floods captures the significant experience the shelter sector has in flood response, recovery, and risk reduction over the past 20 years. This report is based on more than 60 Shelter Projects case studies and overviews across 26 countries as well as interviews with key stakeholders. The report synthesises and analyses lessons and experiences from flood responses from the Shelter and Settlements sector and makes recommendations for the sector and key partners.
